Doomdark Trilogy
These games use a technique called landscaping to create a
3D graphical picture of what you looked at, regardless of
where in the game you were or in what direction you were
looking. They are some kind of mix between adventures and
war games. All of these games involve controlling several
different characters at once.

Notes: This is the first game in this series to be released for the
PC, but in spite of the name it is actually the third game of
the trilogy, being a quest for the "Eye of the Moon". The CD
also contains ports of the first two games.
Comments: The story follows on from Doomdark's Revenge. Luxor the
Moonprince, an old man now, goes on a quest for the Eye of
Moon, but is captured, and imprisoned in a Citadel. So it is
up to Morkin and co. to save him.
It seems more tricky to play than the original two, featuring
a real-time animated interface.

Notes: This was a conventional game using landscaping.
Comments: It's a bitch to solve.
